An energy client of Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide deskside support for internal employees across multiple office locations in the Acadiana Region of Louisiana. In this role, you'll be the first layer of technical support, handling common issues such as printer troubleshooting, password resets, Wi-Fi and internet connectivity problems, and Microsoft Suite assistance. You will also support Dell and HP desktops and laptops, as well as Android and iPhone devices, perform basic desktop imaging and setup, and escalate complex issues to higher-level teams when needed. This position involves working closely with end u in person, traveling between their Louisiana office locations as required, and collaborating with a team. Additionally, this person must have reliable transportation and be able to drive themselves between the 5 office locations, and will receive mileage reimbursement. This position pays between $25-30/hr based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience
1-3 years of experience in L1/L2 desktop support
Strong communication skills for deskside support and client interaction
Hands on experience troubleshooting: (Printers, Password resets, Wi-Fi and Internet issues)
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Ability to work onsite and travel throughout the Acadiana region of Louisiana
Reliable source of transportation and valid Driver's License
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS Certified Professional)
CompTIA A+ certification
Experience supporting Dell and HP machines
Familiarity with desktop imaging and setup
