We're hiring a skilled CNC Machinist to join a fast-paced, high-precision machine shop in Lafayette. If you're the type who takes pride in producing accurate, clean, and consistent work, this shop wants YOU. The pay is between $23.00 - 25.00/hour depending on experience.

What You'll Be Doing (Not Just Pushing Buttons)

• Programming & Setups: Creating, editing, and running CNC programs for a wide variety of parts and materials.
• Machine Operation: Setting up and operating CNC mills/lathes safely, efficiently, and with accuracy.
• Precision Work: Performing quality checks using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement tools.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing machining issues, adjusting programs, and improving run times.
• Reading Blueprints: Interpreting drawings, specs, and work orders to produce high-quality finished parts.
• Team Collaboration: Working closely with machinists, supervisors, and production staff to meet deadlines and maintain workflow.

Skills and Experience
