Systems Analyst

We're seeking a highly skilled and proactive Systems Analyst to join our technology team focused on delivering complex, enterprise-grade software solutions. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in financial servicesespecially brokerageand a passion for bridging business needs with scalable, high-quality technology outcomes. As a Systems Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping product capabilities, optimizing workflows, and ensuring seamless integration across platforms. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX designers, developers, QA engineers, and product owners to deliver solutions that meet both business and user needs. This position is based in Westlake, TX or Lafayette, LA in a HYBRID Model.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Analyze, document, and optimize solution requirements, user stories, and specifications for moderate to complex software systems
  • Conduct data analysis, mapping, flowcharting, gap analysis, and configuration of enterprise platforms
  • Collaborate with UXD teams to gather user requirements, finalize front-end interfaces, and ensure consistent cross-platform experiences using tools like Figma
  • Author detailed product documentation, including use cases, configuration guides, and UAT scripts
  • Partner with developers and QA teams to validate requirements and support Agile delivery cycles
  • Query relational databases using SQL and support data-driven decision-making
  • Integrate and troubleshoot APIs (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) across internal and external systems
  • Leverage generative AI tools to enhance documentation quality, accelerate analysis, and improve delivery efficiency
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • 6+ years of proven experience as a Systems Analyst supporting enterprise software development
  • Strong familiarity with wealth management & brokerage systems and account opening workflows
  • Proficiency in SQL and general programming concepts
  • Hands-on experience with API technologies and data interchange formats
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Highly responsive, detail-oriented, and committed to quality

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with generative AI tools for documentation and analysis
  • Familiarity with design systems and UX collaboration workflows
  • Exposure to financial services platforms and regulatory environments
