The Power Generation Tech is responsible for performing various mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on offshore facilities, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems. Responsibilities Properly terminate medium voltage equipment such as motors, VF - Ds, starters, MC - Cs, and generators. Work with and direct assistants as needed, ensuring safe operations. Maintain physical fitness to perform job duties effectively. Communicate effectively with customers on job locations and manage jobs without supervision. Troubleshoot and repair low and medium voltage equipment such as motors, motor starters, generators, VF - Ds, MC - Cs, and switchgears. Participate in safety training and assist in procedures such as first aid, CPR, fire drills, and emergency evacuation. Travel to work sites via marine or helicopter transport as required.
