Adjunct Instructor of Physical Sciences

The Adjunct Instructor of Physical Sciences is responsible for the development and instruction of course materials and/or labs relating to courses in the fields of Astronomy, Chemistry, Physics, and/or Physical Sciences.

Job Responsibilities:

• 60% - Development and instruction of course materials and/or labs relating to courses in the fields of Astronomy, Chemistry, Physics, and/or Physical Sciences.
• 35% - Office hours
• 5% - Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's in a related field from a regionally accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in a related field OR other terminal degree in related field
• 3 years of college level instruction in biology

Advanced Competencies in the following:

• Ability to teach effectively
• Ability to interact with others (verbal/written)
• Ability to adhere to university policies and meet deadlines
