Description:

Under the direct supervision of the Sr. Manager, General Procurement, and the indirect supervision of the Stores & Transportation Supervisor, perform a variety of duties and activities related to Receiving and Expediting functions within the Materials Department. Participate in on-the-job training and review documentation to ensure accuracy. Responsible for a clean, orderly, safe working environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Accountable for compliance with all regulatory requirements, the GMM, Standard Operating Procedures of the Material Department, Safety Guidelines established by the company, and SOX404 as required
  • Accountable for inventory accuracy
  • Maintain close communication & coordination with coworkers, customers, vendors, and warehouse staff, etc.
  • Record information on incoming/outgoing shipments, issues, credits of non-aircraft parts, supplies, hardware, etc.
  • Must adhere to the company's Shelf-Life Management Program
  • Respond to expedition of non-aircraft parts and materials
  • Must comply with all shipping, receiving, and store policies and procedures
  • Maintain a safe up-to-date vehicle driving record and license
  • Must possess strong problem-solving skills and demonstrate effective decision-making abilities
  • Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma
  • Basic computer skills
  • Prior experience preferred
  • Able to lift and handle freight items
  • Good communication and coordination skills are required
  • Valid vehicle driver's license

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a moderate noise level.
