Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Area Property Manager to oversee a dynamic portfolio of affordable housing communities located in Central and Western Louisiana. This portfolio includes properties at varying stages of lease-up and re-stabilization, across five sites in Lafayette, Lake Charles, Mansura, and Winnfield.

The Area Property Manager will be responsible for leading site teams, executing aggressive leasing and rent collection strategies, and ensuring operational efficiency and compliance across all properties. This role is ideal for a hands-on, mobile leader with a strong background in lease-ups, performance management, and multi-site coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct oversight of five properties in lease-up or re-lease phases
• Lead and support on-site teams to achieve occupancy, rent collection, and compliance goals
• Develop and implement aggressive leasing strategies to reach and maintain stabilization
• Monitor and reduce delinquency through structured rent collection efforts
• Ensure adherence to LIHTC and affordable housing compliance requirements
• Coordinate closely with corporate leadership, leasing specialists, and compliance officers
• Provide consistent regional presence through regular property visits and staff engagement

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of multi-site property management experience, with lease-up focus
• Proven track record in rent collection and vacancy reduction
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Familiarity with LIHTC and affordable housing programs
• Willingness to travel extensively across Central and Western Louisiana
