What We Are Looking For:
FindTalent is seeking a Senior Project Manager on behalf of our client, a leader in the construction and infrastructure industry. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of large-scale projects, focusing on safety, efficiency, and quality. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in project leadership, team development, and financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and successful delivery.
  • Manage projects throughout the entire lifecycle, ensuring contract compliance.
  • Foster and uphold a strong culture of safety.
  • Conduct regular site visits to enforce safety measures and ensure adherence to project plans.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety plans.
  • Provide guidance and accountability to Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers.
  • Mentor new team members, ensuring they understand company processes and expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support staff.
  • Develop a succession plan to drive long-term team growth and sustainability.

Client Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with General Contractors and project owners.
  • Manage client accounts with a focus on long-term collaboration and repeat business.
  • Work closely with field leadership to integrate Agile and internal operational processes.

Project Planning & Execution:

  • Clearly define team roles and responsibilities for each project.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are addressed during project planning.
  • Validate pre-job planning tasks to ensure smooth execution.
  • Apply lessons learned from previous projects to improve future performance.
  • Develop financial strategies that ensure accurate reporting and positive cash flow.
  • Oversee project execution from start to finish, ensuring quality and budget adherence.
  • Utilize company tools and methodologies effectively, adapting Agile reporting as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date billing and resolve financial discrepancies as they arise.
  • Review and approve change order requests, escalating critical issues when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Management, or related field. Equivalent industry experience or union trade background will also be considered.
  • 10+ years of experience in construction project management.
  • Proficiency in interpreting electrical, mechanical, structural, civil, and architectural plans.
  • Strong analytical skills in scheduling, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Expertise in Google Suite, Primavera Project & Contract Management, and Bluebeam.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring project teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels, from field teams to executives.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively for both yourself and your team.
