The University of Louisiana at Lafayette Athletics Department is seeking a qualified Assistant Director of Sports Medicine. Assists the Associate Directors of Sports Medicine and the Associate Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine with the provision of athletic training services including prevention, care, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for 16 intercollegiate sports and spirit squads. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Assists the Associate Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine in the supervision of the Athletic Training Room.- Provides first aid and emergency care for athletic related injuries.- Assists with home and away events.- Maintains medical and insurance records.- Maintains inventory and supplies.- Recruits and supervises student workers.- May include teaching duties. - Other duties as assigned.
