The Shop Helper supports the operational readiness of IMDS equipment by performing essential onshore tasks. This role is responsible for assisting with pre-job preparation, routine maintenance, and post-job cleanup and inspection of equipment. The position is strictly onshore and does not involve offshore assignments. This is a daily on-site based position within Broussard, LA. work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need. Duties And Responsibilities. Assist all technicians in the shop and yard as needed. Perform pre-job preparation, routine maintenance, and post-job servicing of all IMDS equipment. Chip, grind, and paint equipment to maintain operational standards. Load, unload, and move equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with the disassembly, inspection, reassembly, and testing of equipment. Troubleshoot, identify, and repair or replace defective parts.
