Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business or a related discipline from an accredited university
  • Five (5) years of progressive relevant experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Must have experience with goal setting and implementing strategic change models
  • Motivated, customer service-oriented individual with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to prioritize workload and assume responsibility for the work
  • Handle confidential matters professionally and exude the appropriate level of discretion
  • Sound judgment and maturity

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Confidential University Operations and adhere to the guidelines established by the governing bodies.
  • Represent the Office of the President and actively participate in university cross-functional groups including various committees.
  • Directly oversee University Operations to include: University Police, Special Events and Building Security, Information Technology, Data & Analytics, Safety & Risk Management, Insurance claims, Facilities and Emergency Management.
  • Manage efficient team structure and performance through analytics, processes, and technology tools.
  • nalyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement
  • Develop strong relationships with outside partners and constituents, as well as internal partners, including department heads, deans and vice presidents
  • Manage external public safety relationships with the United States Secret Service; Department of Homeland Security; Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Agency; Federal Bureau of Investigation; Louisiana State Police; Louisiana National Guard; Louisiana Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, as well as other state and local law enforcement agencies
  • Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement university-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning
  • Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
