We're looking for someone who will:

  • Grow our company's business through strategic account management, expansion and cross-sell within existing clients, and development of new business both within the U.S. and internationally. The person in this role will interface primarily with Insights and Marketing leaders and will be expected to engage senior decision-makers within these departments. This role will report into the SVP, Vertical Leader.
  • Work with senior-level client contacts to understand opportunities for research projects and programs, and applications for MarketCast's solutions, data and analytics products.
  • Achieve Sales Target in 12 months, both by obtaining and retaining new clients and via new projects from current clients.
  • Lead the strategy, crafting, and presentation of MarketCast capabilities in response to RFPs and through proactive sales and marketing outreach.
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of MarketCast's current projects, products, and services; apply MarketCast's capabilities in strategic ways to the needs of clients and prospects.
  • Participate in broader Commercial Team discussions and
    forums to generate efficiency through scaling of custom solutions, sharing of capabilities and proposal presentations, feeding-back intel to the Product team regarding our solutions and their enhancement

It'll be helpful if you have:

  • 10+ years of experience working in the Market Research industry in a sales or account management role, selling-in large enterprise-level programs as well as custom work.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in developing programs in response to client RFPs, from the beginning to the end of the deal cycle.
  • An understanding and passion for using research and data to solve complex problems.
  • Strong listening skills and a keen sense for digging deeper through probing questions to get underneath the surface to the core client issue to solve.
  • A successful track record supporting client relationships through effective partnerships with internal and external client teams in highly matrixed environments.
  • A solid client network to immediately support MarketCast's existing clients and future growth.
  • An understanding of the macro issues and trends impacting both our clients' industries and their specific situations.
  • Enthusiasm and energy to play a major role in helping MarketCast grow as an insights and analytics leader in the industry.

Per the pay transparency law, the hiring range for this position is $175,000 to $200,000. As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skill set, and any other factors MarketCast considers relevant to the hiring decision. In addition to your salary, MarketCast believes in providing a competitive total rewards package for its employees.
