We are seeking a talented Senior Oracle Apex Developer to join our team. This role offers hybrid in one of these locations, with preferred offices in Lafayette, LA, or options in Bloomfield or Hartford, CT, Raleigh or Cary, NC, and Chattanooga, TN.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Perform coding standards, reusable code and being an active participant in code reviews.
Design, configuration, implementation of middleware products and application design/development within the supported technologies and products.
Proactive monitoring and management design of supported assets assuring performance, availability, security, and capacity.
Recognize the needs of customers and build simple solutions that answer those needs.
Clearly communicate their ideas to peers, partners, and management.
Build and invent new ways of approaching problems and developing innovative applications as well as bringing experience from other industries.
Work directly with clients and customers, to provide customer service and consultant mentality to answer questions and fix issues.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
7+years of shown diverse work experience in IT with a minimum of 5+years' experience in application development.
Experience with the following disciplines: Oracle, Apex, PL/SQL, and MS VBA.
Solid grasp of development and testing techniques and toolsets.
Experience advising a team in a collaborative development of prototypes for demonstration of concepts.
Problem-Solving: As issues come up, ability to make decisions that move the project forward.
Work well with team members as part of a distributed agile (SAFe) team of developers, analysts, QA, and more.
Should be very familiar with sophisticated concepts and have relevant, hands-on experience in many of the following areas to be a successful contributor on the team: Sophisticated Event Processing, OOP or Enterprise Integration Patterns, Service Oriented Architecture (event-driven SOA, Web Services, REST, ESB), Database development & tuning (Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server), Performance (threading, indexing, clustering, caching), Document-centric data architecture (XML DB/NoSQL/JSON), UI development (APEX)
Experience with Agile development (SCRUM methodology) desired
Education: Bachelor's in computer science, related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $97,000 - $214,800.
