Position: Territory Sales Manager

As the Territory Sales Manager, your role will be to provide account management, product sales, and marketing support within the assigned territory and/or account responsibility for the Pool Solutions group. You will be responsible for developing and supporting the current customer base, marketing and sales follow-up, new account acquisitions, and ongoing sales growth within Solenis' Pool Solutions group.

This territory covers customers in the Greater Houston market, East Texas, and all of Louisiana over to Gulfport, MS.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for territory account development and support with Solenis' pool and spa customers, as well as support with distribution customers when necessary.
  2. Provide analysis of sales results to customers and management to develop solutions that will grow sales within the current customer base and new customers.
  3. Support retail customers through regular sales visits, training, and support to achieve sales objectives.
  4. Maintain accurate and timely call reports utilizing Salesforce.com (SFDC) and report key information acquired during sales visits.
  5. Recommend and provide marketing/product support such as promotional materials, store displays, and advertising support.
  6. Utilize MS Office, Tableau, and other sales software to create presentations, track market conditions, and support customers with sales data.
  7. Attend and participate in trade shows, local association groups, and internal/external meetings to promote Solenis products.
  8. Comply with corporate, group, and location policies & procedures.
  9. Perform additional duties as required by the Regional Manager.

Key Requirements:

  1. BS Degree in business or a related discipline is preferred.
  2. Minimum of 3 years sales experience.
  3. Knowledge of the swimming pool and spa industry.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Strong analysis and presentation skills.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  8. Experience working closely with senior sales personnel.
  9. Willingness to travel approximately 40% overnight within the territory.
