Staffmark is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day operations at a reputable local facility in Lafayette, LA. Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Answer and direct calls on the main phone line
  • Coordinate site logistics for customers, contractors, and guests-including safety orientations
  • Organize plant meetings, luncheons, and maintain the monthly calendar and vacation schedule
  • Keep employee rosters and phone lists up to date and posted
  • Manage office and cleaning supply orders using approved vendors and Kanban systems
  • Oversee copier management, including service and replacements
  • Distribute incoming mail daily and code invoices for Accounts Payable
  • Track and resolve payment issues using Paywiz and coordinate with the AP team
  • Assist with internal communications such as newsletters and display boards
  • Maintain office key inventory and security access
  • Keep all visual management boards current and organized
