Manage and help develop compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, bonuses, and stock options
Ensure alignment of compensation package within the Company's goals
Evaluate job positions to determine appropriate compensation levels
Compare the organization's compensation practices against competitors
Prepare and communicate various financial reports and key statistics monthly
Make sure compensation practices comply with federal and state laws
Work closely with internal departments to understand the impact of compensation decisions and aggregate data on an entity level
Exercise confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgement in performance of duties
Reconcile employee bonus compensation plans and payments to ensure accuracy
Utilize excel-based reporting to build commission models and calculate commission payments
Maintain schedule and process flow documents to account for all paid bonus/commission payments for all
VieMed companies, through collaboration with multiple departments including Sales, Operations, Sleep/Respiratory, Clinical Operations, etc.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual bonus/commission payments and review for accuracy by utilizing company bonus/commission schedules; submit to payroll for processing
Coordinate with Accounting to ensure completeness of data used to calculate monthly, quarterly and annual bonus and commission payments
Summarize and present monthly, quarterly and annual accrual results to the accounting department
Maintain payroll system general ledger
Coordinate annual financial and SOX controls audit with internal and external parties
Prepare audit deliverables on a timely basis and participate in process walkthroughs with internal finance team and external auditors clearly communicating process risks and controls
Other responsibilities and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources or a related field
Ability to understand the laws and regulations affecting compensation
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written to interact knowledgeably with internal and external parties
Ability to partner effectively with all internal business lines
Access to Protected Health Information (PHI):
This position will require the employee to handle Protected Health Information (PHI) for duties related to document and report preparation. Policies and procedures will be strictly adhered to make sure PHI is protected as required by the HIPAA Privacy Rule
