Siemens Energy's Electrification, Automation, and Digitalization (EAD) business unit is looking for a Field ServiceEngineer with direct experience in servicing integrated industrial solutionswith LV/MV Power Systems technologies for the Marine, and Oil & Gas industries.The engineer who takes this position will travel to a customer's site andtroubleshoot, test, maintain, and/or commission solutions using Siemens Energygenerators, switchgear and transformers to satisfy industrial customerrequirements or solve problems. The engineer will coordinate with localengineering teams to recommend and deliver high quality technical solutions.

A successful engineer will have a strong educational andindustrial background with a major focus in Power Generation and Distributionand extensive hands-on experience. A passion for the field and drive to learnand tackle new challenges is an absolute must. The experienced level engineermust be able to develop customer relationships, be accurate and detailed whileworking in a fast- paced environment with multiple people, calls and projectsdemanding attention and time. Candidate must also have the willingness totravel extensively in the US and work the hours needed on industrial job sitesto complete the tasks at hand.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Performpower system analysis studies and Perform protection relay injectiontesting

• Faultfind, service and commission generators onboard offshore vessels; Faultfind, service and commission transformers onboard offshore vessels; Faultfind, service and commission MV & LV Switchgear onboard offshorevessels

• Mustbe proficient in planning workload and specific tasks and be able toachieve completion dates.

• Interfacedirectly to customers to answer questions and resolve issues.

• Ableto understand project-specific documentation (system and functionaldescriptions, test and commissioning procedures, etc.).

• Mostlydomestic with some international travel to other Siemens Energy andcustomer facilities is required (up to approx. 80%).

What You Bring

• Bachelor'sDegree in Electrical Engineering and minimum 5 years of relevantexperience in Marine or a related industry.

• PowerSystem Solution Design, Service or Commissioning Experience

• Experiencewith protective relay testing

You will preferably have:

• Automation,SCADA programming experience and VFD service, commissioning experience

• Marine,Drilling or Offshore production working experience.

• Experiencewith Siemens Energy drives, Automation and Marine solutions

All candidates must be authorized or able to obtainauthorization to work in the United States.
