Description:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Current lifeguard certification (YMCA, Red Cross, or equivalent) with strong knowledge of aquatic safety and emergency response procedures. One to two years of related experience preferred (e.g., as an aquatics coordinator or supervisor). At least 1 year of experience teaching swim lessons or leading aquatic programs. Experience in program development and implementation to increase attendance and revenue. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Passion for water safety and the ability to create a positive and inclusive aquatic environment. Within 30 days of hire, completion of Child Abuse Prevention, Working with Program Volunteers, CPR, First Aid, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogens training. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Minimum age of 21.
