One of our Partners is seeking an experienced and results-oriented General Manager to lead their Lafayette, LA business. The General Manager will have full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for the Lafayette facility, overseeing operations, sales, quality, distribution, and customer service while driving strategic initiatives for growth and operational efficiency. This role is pivotal in optimizing performance and delivering best-in-class customer service. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a proven track record in food manufacturing and sales, skilled at managing cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead and Execute Business Strategy: Develop and implement business strategies to meet financial goals, with a focus on profitability, operational efficiency, and customer service.
2. P&L Management: Oversee full P&L for the Lafayette business, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
3. Operational Excellence: Lead the Operations and Distribution teams to ensure the efficient and safe production of high-quality products, maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
4. Commercial Strategy: Work closely with sales teams to develop strategies that increase volume and market share, with a focus on retail and foodservice channels.
5. Team Leadership and Development: Lead a cross-functional team, fostering a winning, high-performance culture with a focus on accountability and growth.
6. Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure all business activities adhere to safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
7. Collaborate with Corporate Leadership: Partner with corporate teams to align on capital planning, financial forecasting, people leadership, customer service, safety, and strategic initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
2. Significant experience (typically 15+ years) in food manufacturing leadership, including P&L responsibility.
3. Proven track record of success in food manufacturing and sales, with experience in both retail and food service sectors.
4. Strong leadership and team development skills, with at least 5 years managing cross-functional teams.
5. Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and achieving operational excellence.
6. Experience in food manufacturing, preferably in the dairy industry.
7. Dairy experience highly preferred.
