Richard Construction Inc. (RCI) is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician.
Position Summary
An Industrial Electrician will perform the following activities but are not limited to: install wiring raceways, install cable trays, install wire & cable, install electrical equipment, lighting, perform wire terminations, perform electrical tests, troubleshoot electrical systems, etc., across a construction site

Position Responsibilities:
* Read blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work: locations in space (coordinates), quantities, and sizes of materials required
* Identify all tools required for tasks
* Identify safety risks and precautions required to eliminate those risks
* Perform general electrical construction and maintenance duties
* Install, terminate, seal, test, etc., new electrical equipment, conduit, wire, raceways, or connections to electrical infrastructure and process equipment motors, etc.
* Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components
* Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
* Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures
* Follow National Electrical Code (NEC), state, local, and client regulations and specifications
* Cleanup work areas
* Must be willing to assist other crafts and perform additional job duties while not performing primary craft duties (be a Team player)
Required Qualifications:
* Must have verifiable experience as a journeyman electrician or 4+ years working as an electrical apprentice
* Must have State issued journeyman or master electrician license
* Must be able to read blueprints, plans, and drawings proficiently to perform duties
* Must have knowledge on materials, tools, and processes involved with basic building techniques and form construction
* Must be able to compute basic arithmetic functions, measure, mark, and cut equipment or materials to specifications
* Must have reliable transportation
* Must be able to work full work schedule and any additional overtime with little or no notification
* Must be willing to assist other crafts and perform additional duties while not performing primary craft duties
* Must be willing to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations
* Must follow all company and site rules and regulations
* Must have required tools
* Ability to work with others - Team player
* Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors

Preferred Qualifications:
* Richard Construction Inc. (RCI) former employee from a Reduction of Force (ROF)
* Former employee of RCI
* NCCER Certification related to Electrician or Instrumentation
* Completion of electrician apprenticeship or other formal/technical education
* Instrumentation experience

Physical Requirements:
* Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting
* Will talk and hear in order to communicate effectively
* Able to use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, and push or pull objects such as materials, controls, and tools
* Will be required to lift, carry and move objects up to 50 lbs in weight
* Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and work off platforms and man lifts
* Capable of occasionally work out on an open structure using the appropriate fall protection requirements
* Capable of work at heights up to 300 feet utilizing proper fall protection devices
* Will use vision abilities to focus, see short distances, see colors, possess depth perception and peripheral vision
* Must be capable or working outdoors in the elements including but not limited to the heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind
* Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, earplugs/muffs, safety vests, gloves, steel toe/safety toe boots, and masks/respirators
