What You'll Do:



  • Handle customer payouts with accuracy

  • Maintain precise records of all cash and check balances

  • Weigh incoming and outgoing scrap metal shipments using an automated system

  • Communicate with yard personnel regarding load details

  • Process inspection tickets for proper inventory control

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date transaction-related files

  • Enter transaction data into manufacturing software and retrieve information from internal systems

  • Maintain and operate the radiation detection system

  • Provide excellent customer service to dealers, vendors, and customers, both in-person and over the phone

  • Stay current with industry trends and practices

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned



What You'll Need:



  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new software

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, physical, and drug screening

  • Familiarity with scrap metal commodities and transportation regulations (a plus)




Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or GED

  • Minimum of two years of customer service experience
