IMC is currently hiringa Environmental Services Worker (Housekeeping), from 7:00am - 3:30pm, who performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner, buffs floors as needed, and performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department.

EDUCATION:

• Must be able to read and write.

• No previous experience needed.

• Performsall assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highestintegrity of the Environmental Services Department.
• Performsroutine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, and clinical areas,waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairwaysin a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
• Completeswork assignments in a timely manner.
• Utilizesthe appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Usesand maintains equipment properly.
• Assistsvisitors with directions whenever requested.
• Alwaysintroduces self to patients, families and visitors.
• Reportssafety hazards as appropriate.
• Transportstrash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area.
• Replenishessupplies.
• Followsall infection prevention and control practices, including Standard Precautions,Transmission-Based Precautions and hand hygiene.
• Maintainsset quality standards when performing job duties.
