Reporting to the Manager, Material, this role involves interpreting production schedules and fulfilling orders efficiently.Responsibilities:- Interpret production schedules and orders to determine items for movement.- Transport materials from receiving or production areas to storage or designated locations.- Organize materials based on predetermined criteria.- Handle perishable goods and assemble customer orders.- Mark materials for identification and maintain accurate records.- Comply with organizational policies and fulfill assigned duties.Accountabilities:-Embody the company's behaviors to foster a high-performance culture.- Support the Exceptional Product Delivery pillar of the strategic plan.- Fulfill material requisitions and work orders.- Perform physical and computer-based tasks as required.Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PMPay Rate: $17-19/hrSkills:Experience working with a scanner and/or ERP systemForklift OperationEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:- Forklift Experience that is recent- Ability to read, comprehend, and present information effectively.- Proficiency in basic mathematical operations and data interpretation.- Capability to execute detailed instructions and problem-solving skills.- High school diploma or equivalentapply at www.spherion.com and then call the Spherion office at 337-###-####.
