This position is responsible for managing the success of all Marketing events. This includes independently coordinating and directing the delivery of tournaments, promotional events, giveaways, concerts and any other events requiring the facilities of Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel. Supervises the activities of the Special Events/Marketing Coordinators. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Bachelor’s degree in related hotel administration/hospitality management field and four (4) years of significant customer-oriented hospitality industry experience preferably in a casino, convention hotel, conference or convention center, or significant operating experience with multi-management of meetings and/or expositions.
